Thanks for the question! This 4 gallom cone bottom tank is made of HDPE which is safe for potable water, food and beverage. There are no anti-microbial agents on the surface of the tank.

So you answered the same question twice but with 2 different answers. So I have to ask. What size is the theaded bottom outlet?
Thanks for the question, and for pointing out the conflicting information in the answers about the threaded bottom outlet / drain size. Those answers have been updated and are now correct. To answer your question, this tank has a 1 inch threaded drain.

Is there a inlet adaptor/nipple for the top to install a 1/2 flex pipe to? Does the drain on the bottom have a threaded connection to install a release valve?
Thanks for the questions. The tank does not come with a nipple on the top to be able to install a 1/2 flex pipe to. However, you can find a threaded nipple with a nut, and easily drill a hole and install one. A nipple is not a part that we carry, but you can probably find one at most hardware stores for a couple dollars. The drain at the bottom of the tank is 1 inch and it is threaded, so you can easily adapt or connect to whatever you need to.

Is there a valve on the bottom to easily drain, small amounts of water ? Looking for something like this to use as a portable hand wash station on our service trucks
Thanks for the question. These tanks are used for so many different applications, there is not a valve installed, but it does have a 1 inch outlet on the bottom. You can add any type of on/off valve that you may need, that are available at most hardware stores.
