Can you adapt the drain to a 2 inch drain? Are those part available at most hardware stores, or do they need to be purchased by you?
Thanks for the question. The bulkhead (drain) fitting on the bottom of this tank is 1 inch. There is not a way to put a larger bulkhead (drain) on the tank to make it 2 inches. But you can reduce what you are connecting to the tank to down to 1 inch, or use a fitting on the tank to go from 1 inch to 2 inches. The tank has common pipe threads, that can be found in most hardware stores.

With the plastic used in the manufacturing of this tank, would it be considered safe for drinking water or food grade applications?
Thanks for the question. Yes, this tank is made of HDPE which is safe for food and potable water.

What size is the plug on the bottom of your tank?
Thanks for the question. This tank has a 1 inch drain outlet, but you can adapt it to whatever size that you need.
