Please describe specifics around the 4” lid with “breather”. Is this a one way relief? I’d like to know if the lid will release air as I fill the container from the bottom.

Thanks for the question! The lid seats and latches closed on the tank, but there is no seal. This allows air to pull into the tank when draining, or air to be released from the tank when being filled.

Can the liquid inside tank be seen from outside so one can see how full it is?

Thanks for the question. Yes, this tank is translucent so you can see how full the tank is from outside the tank.

How far is bottom spout out from flat mounting side of tank?

Thanks for the question. The bottom drain is centered on the bottom of the tank. The tank is 22 inches at its widest point, and 10 inches deep, so the drain would be about 5 inches from the flat mounting back side of the tank. What is the connection size and thread pattern for the bottom connection, and how big is the opening in the top?

The bottom connection is 1 inch, and the lid is 4 inches.
Can this tank be used with gasoline and wall mounted for a generator?
