Can that 1000 gallon tank be buried in the ground?
Thanks for the question. The page that you asked this question from, is the LID, for the 1000 ROTTC tank. The tank itself, can be found here: https://www.dunmiers.com/products/1000-gallon-rectangular-open-top-hdpe-tank-custom-roto-molding-1000-rott I have not heard of anyone burying this tank in the ground, but I don’t see why you couldn’t. Since this tank is only 48 inches tall, there would be minimal weight pushing in on the sides. I would also suggest, prior to filling the hole back with dirt, fill the tank first with water to prevent any bowing.
